"Okay come on what's so bad about it?"
This isn't so much my own review as it is a response to B4gle.
Dude, it's not the creator's fault at all, and like he said it's about the viewers.
Also, if you have some kind thing against it, why don't you think a bit more about what was GOOD?
What I think was IMPRESSIVE is he just shoved a bumload of Pokemon names in under two minutes, while not sounding stupid.
Also, why would you give it a 0? Only things that deserve a 0 in the Audio portal at least, are the ones that DON'T MAKE IT INTO THE AUDIO PORTAL!
I mean sure it's your opinion, and that should be respected, but seriously, if all you think about are the bad things then that must mean you've never given a
1-10 rating on this website EVER.

I appreciate your support, but unfortunately using your review to counter someone else's means you left no chance for you yourself to leave one about the submission. I would have liked to hear your feedback! D:
If you want, you can send me a PM with your own review for this submission, and I will reply to that as well. Thanks for listening!

Forgot to vote on this one, and its been on my iTunes for a few months now.
Like the lyrics, love the quality, your vocals are great.
And FYI to unhinged101, he doesn't have a band, he uses software instruments, so it's him doing instruments AND vocals.
Crazy huh?

Wow i'm reviewing this FOUR YEARS passed it's creation, and I think that this is still pretty good! not saying your newer work hasnt improved that much, but yknow..
Shit, dude. Cut yourself some slack. This is a good song and you know it, no matter what any bad critic can come up with.
Author's Response:
If I really thought it was bad, I wouldn't have posted it.
I do appreciate the compliment and encouragement, though, and it was really the fact that I had to use a vocaloid back then. It's all good though.

At first I thought being addicted to videogames would never help me understand anything, but hell, I learned.
At first I thought I'd never learn to understand music, but hell, I learned.
I combined those two "misunderstandings" and can picture a deep tragedy-filled scene from like, an RPG game or something.
Haha.
I know that's extremely nerdy of me to say, but yeah, it does.
I can't say I can personally relate, as nothing horribly sad or deep has happened in my life, nor any similiar ordeal.
But this really gives you a vivid picture of what you are trying to show through this music. It'd make great non-diegetic sound in any kind of sad or deep scene from a movie or videogame or whatever.
Author's Response:
Thanks.
The short film that this piece was composed for, actually, utilized this piece very well. Considering I was shown no footage of the film when I composed it and was just told what was going on, I was surprised at how emotional the scene turned out with the footage working with the music.
This was my favorite piece from that soundtrack.

"Just ignore the title"?? Serious, man? It IS twisted!
It starts out calm, and kinda creepy, until the music starts slowly intensifying which "twists" up the song, into some dark. creepy, nightmarish sound that reminds you of when you watched Child's Play as a six year old.
Author's Response:
Oh, when I wrote "ignore the title" I was talking about the "Maddening" part.
This piece was actually made on a dare. Someone dared me to compose a song that was eerie and disturbing but only used two instruments, so this is what I came up with.

Whoa-oh-ohhhhh there, man... AMAZING!!!
I mean obviously those aren't your vocals (lol, yeah I've heard your other songs) but the girl who did the vocals, GO PROFFESIONAL ALREADY! And dude, YOU, your way of using software instruments stirrs up everything with every single song I've heard from you.
I mean, alot of your songs get reviews saying "your band is great" or something, when really it's just ONE GUY who is just THE MASTER at putting together QUALITY MUSIC without even having a band behind his back, or ANYTHING LIKE THAT!!!
The lyrics were friggin' uhh... "mesmerizing" I guess, copying what
sh4d0w-3lade said. Like, it's just really deep, it reminds me alot about uhm... what's Amy Lee's band again? Eva-somethin'...? Anyway its just a great track, and it beats out most of the songs I've heard on NG. In fact, MANY of your songs, or songs you've contributed to, have surpassed many musicians on NG.
I'm definitely always going to look forward to your work!
And I hope everyone who hears your music will have the same reaction!
Author's Response:
It's things like your feelings toward my music that makes my music worth making and keeps me making it. Thank you. I really do deeply appreciate it.
As you know, I'm scoring a film where, although it is on an indie basis, I stand to gain much exposure from it that I hope will help me get my foot in the door to go professional. Even though I'm in college preparing my Plan B to get a good steady job, I'm hoping for the best on Plan A.
Thank you again for your support.
(and also, Raegan Quinn, the woman singing in this song, was a professional opera singer when she lived in Scotland)

"Are you sure this is underground music?"
I swear I thought this was some stolen professional material at first, I'm giving this a perfect 10!
Great sound quality, no fuzzy crap. Awesome vocals, not totally my style of music but I still like it. Lyrics are great. Instruments were very well-played and the song itself was catchy and awesome.
Nothing mediocre bout it.

We once stole candy from the shop but we returned it because we felt bad. Our songs aren't stolen though. We wrote it while having dinner and it was a freezing day (well to us, living on a tropical island, 'freezing' = 26 C ) and figured what would happened if you freeze happiness + bukkake + udon
This is the result of it :)

This is like my favorite song...EVER.
And I listen to Linkin Park and Papa Roach and Sum 41 and so on.
Holy crap man even thouh some parts are a little bit flawed (the review below mine, VERY THOROUGH) but I dunno why I left this on repeat on my iTunes and still <3 it
Author's Response:
This was one of my favorite songs as far as the way it turned out audio-wise, even though the flaws of it are obvious indeed.
Thanks for the input, and I'm glad someone else enjoyed this song as well.

I got a little animation/cartoon series on Youtube and I noticed that throughout the first dozen episodes, I always chose the wrong music during relaxing, calm moments.
This will be one of them to fix my problem, along with a few of your other songs I heard.
And yes, I will give credit if I use them. Haha.
Author's Response:
That's fine. Thanks for the heads up.

I agree with SiloZen, to me it sounds like something from Pokemon or Zelda. Like when you're outside in the field on some awesome journey to awesomeness and kickass asskickyness.
